Pro Peninsula supports rehabilitation programs in the GULF !!!
We at Pro Peninsula are contributing to conservation and wildlife rehabilitation programs located in the gulf throughout the summer. So far we have raised over $1000 by Sea Turtle adoptions, the number is continuously rising. Amongst the rehabilitation programs that Pro Peninsula supports in the GULF is the Audubon Society.
The proceeds go directly to support the Freeport-McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center south of New Orleans. This is the primary rehab center for turtles that were pulled from the Gulf in Louisiana. See pics below.

Virtual Summer Lunada

Pro Peninsula is very excited to announce that the 4th annual Summer Lunada has gone VIRTUAL! We are hosting a month-long online fundraising event during August 2010, dedicated to Pro Peninsula's community conservation efforts throughout San Diego and the Baja Calofornia Peninsula.
This unique virtual fundraiser features a luxury raffle including packages worth thousands, and Pro Peninsula's one-of-a-kind "Giving Cactus" program that allows you to give directly to the Pro Peninsula projects that you feel most passionate about!
In light of the recent oil spill catastrophe, Pro Peninsula finds it more important than ever for the public to get together in support of community and conservation efforts.
After contributing to conservation and wildlife rehabilitation programs located in the gulf this summer, Pro Peninsula is committed to continuing and strengthening our conservation efforts close to home. Additionally, Pro Peninsula will donate 10% of funds raised during the Virtual Lunada to the conservation projects in the gulf.
During last year’s Summer Lunada event, Pro Peninsula was able to raise over $30,000 in direct support of our environmental protection efforts, including sea turtle conservation. You can further our mission and help us reach this year’s Lunada fundraising goal by purchasing a "virtual " ticket today.

The Resuls Are In!
Hey Everyone!
The results of the Humanity Calls Tournament are in, thanks to votes and donations made by YOU we ended up in 17th place! By remaining in the top 30 voted nonprofit groups we were able to receive $1,147.49 (of which $115 was from direct donations)! We thank everyone who voted for Pro Peninsula and also everyone who made donations! Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated!
